AIPMA is a member based organisation and Membership includes various segment of plastics industry from 175 cities nationwide, such as polymer manufacturers, machinery manufacturers, processors, moulds & dies makers, traders, exporters, manufacturers, processors, moulds & consultants, institutions and many more. 90% of Membership of AIPMA is from MSME Sector.

All India Plastics Association Forum comprising of over 90 Regional and small Plastics Associations of India work under umbrella of AIPMA to serve Plastics Industry and take initiatives to give required growth to the Industry.

ACTIVITIES OF AIPMA

AIPMA, with growth oriented projects has celebrated its AMRUT MAHOTSAV milestone with its vision and mission set on

  • Work towards making India an International sourcing base for plastics.
  • Vigorously promote plastics in compliance with National & International standards and Certifications like BIS, ISO, Six Sigma, Lean Management, National Manufacturing Competitiveness, REACH, etc.
  • Study of Import of plastic finished goods and opportunities to Indian producers
  • Set up Export Cell to provide information and assistance to members, Extensive study of 21 top importing countries and 9 HSN chapters for plastic finished goods. Identifying export market potential for Indian manufacturers.
  • Fight against any national or international challenges confronting growth of Indian Plastic Industry.
  • Promote membership through zonal offices especially in MSME Sector.
  • Organize technical & management training programs.
  • Promote Plastics Cluster Development
  • Remain alert on various environmental issues and anti Plastics campaigns.

AIPMA ALERT ON PLASTICS IN ENVIRONMENT AND PLASTICS IMAGE BUILDING INITIATIVES & FISCAL POLICIES

  • Addressing cause based issues of Plastic Industry and Plastics Image building initiatives.

The size of Delegation to all the International Exhibition is as big as 250+ core buyers from all over India. For global approach, and explore business gateways we organise B2B meetings between our members and Foreign Business groups. As part of its export promotion initiative, AIPMA organized study tours to the IHS Fair in Chicago, the Canton Fair in China and the ASD Market Week Show in Las Vegas, Household show Moscow and many more to come.

AIPMA's ARVIND MEHTA TECHNOLOGY AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP CENTRE (AMTEC), MUMBAI

Centre of Excellence for Plastics Product Innovation and Application' has been established to promote high quality knowledge and industrial services for rapid growth of the plastics and its application industry. The Centre of Excellence would help the MSME's in reducing overall time to design, develop and rapid roll out of products thereby increase speed to market and beat China in global market. The Centre would help Indian plastics industry in increasing its global market share from US $ 10 Billion to US $ 20 Billion in next 3 years.
