SMT. ANUPRIYA PATEL
Minister of State Health & Family Welfare and Chemicals & Fertilisers Government of India.
The journey toward becoming a global hub for plastic manufacturing and exports requires informed strategies and collaborative action. In this spirit, I welcome the initiative by the All India Plastics Manufacturers' Association (AIPMA), with the support of CPMA for undertaking the study for identification of product opportunities and potential export markets.
The study offers a Practical and well-researched roadmap, highlighting specific product opportunities across 21 global markets. It is an important step in aligning industry efforts with India's larger export ambitions and fostering a more resilient, high-value plastic manufacturing sector.
The Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals (DCPC) is committed to enhancing India's manufacturing capabilities and global presence in the petrochemical space. This study will serve as a useful tool for exporters and manufacturers, especially as we aim to boost sectoral productivity, innovation, and market outreach.
I congratulate AIPMA and CPMA for their contribution and best wishes for the continued success of this important initiative.
