SHRI PIYUSH GOYAL
Minister of Commerce & Industry Government of India
I am delighted to learn that the All India Plastics Manufacturers' Association (AIPMA) and the Chemicals and Petrochemicals Manufacturers Association (CPMA) are publishing a detailed study titled "Boost India's Export by 4X of Plastic Finished Products". This comprehensive analysis, which examines trade data from 21 major plastic-importing countries, offers valuable insights into the vast potential of India's plastic industry and its future growth in global markets.
By identifying key products with strong export prospects, the study provides a clear roadmap for Indian exporters to tap into new and expanding markets, helping them position themselves as competitive players in the global arena. This study is a game-changer for stakeholders across the entire value chain, including policymakers, domestic manufacturers, raw material suppliers, machine manufacturers, logistics providers and others. It will enable these groups to make well-informed decisions, optimize operations and target growth opportunities that may have otherwise been overlooked.
AIPMA's dedicated approach through this report exemplifies their leadership in driving India's plastic industry toward greater global recognition. By equipping stakeholders with these actionable insights, this initiative will pave the way for enhanced export performance, positioning India as a key player in the global plastics market. I am confident that it will significantly contribute to the growth and elevation of India's plastics sector in the years to come.
I congratulate AIPMA on the publication of this study and wish the association continued success in all its future endeavors.
